FACE OFF: Final Five!

So it's been awhile since I've said anything about Face OFF, so I'll jump right in and catch up:

1) Those Gone

Eddie: Well, once he started with the ghostly baseball player I knew where he was going with it and knew it was going to get him kicked off for it. Wasn't scary. Goofy yes, Cartoon-like, yes. Too bad.

Frank: Awesome this season and very talented, but by doing the gluttonous fat guy, something he was suggested not to do, it cost him. Honestly too, had he maybe worked out the head some more he might've slipped by cause the paint was great.

RJ: Buddy, sorry, it was just bad; cute idea—not in a good way, because it didn't play to the judges and he should've known that.

Scott: Yea, everyone got the concept behind your art after learning about your father, but it could've been done better so the narration came through the makeup.

Alana: SHOULD STILL BE ON THE SHOW!

2) Who Will WIN?

I really think it's either Tate or Laura's to win. If they both drop the ball, my next thought would be Miranda, unless Roy just makes something that blows everyone out of the water. I like Laney alot, but I don't think she has enough range to beat the others, but who knows.

Check out Face OFF Dark Magic to see who's the next to fall off.

Ink Master is BACK!

Yep. It's back! So let's do the rundown since we're already two episodes in.  FIRST!  They had to earn their shops this time, which was a fun and cool concept. By watching them do Convention Style Tattooing, you got to see a range of their skills. Most everyone did ok, with a few pointers needed here'n'there: Matti Hixson, Scott Marshall and Sausage (yes, that's his name) rounding out the overall best. Then they got into the final tattoos of the day, which was their choice...David Bell did a crushed skull and since he didn't represent it as being such, I think that's why he got picked out for it not being "readable"; but I think it was a cool. Randy Vollink did a water-color ship, which didn't look bad, but wasn't up to par. Keith Diffenderfer did an ugly, ghoulish woman...SORRY, no one wants an ugly chick on their body, I don't care who you are and the judges told him so. Everyone else kinda fell in the middle thereafter a...

My review-ish of The Last Jedi—I cut it into a rant of sorts, because of how much time has passed.

So, it's been long enough. Too long actually that I doubt anyone gives a %$#@ about my opinion. With that in mind, I'll keep it short, more of a rant, given that you've already read dozens if not hundreds of these things. Overall, the quick and easy rating system: 7-8 out of 10* (mostly for some big moments and nostalgia) 6-7 out of 10* (those moments removed) 5-6 out of 10* (when you really dig into the plot as presented) And I kinda bounce somewhere along all three depending upon who I'm talking to about it. So while I'm not conflicted about whether I liked it, I'm conflicted about how good it actually was. As in, which is more important: How a movie makes you feel or How well the story actually unfolds. Going off memory, let's begin with the characters— Poe Dameron In the last movie we learned that Poe was the best of the best of the best of the best..... In the Last Jedi, we learn he's also a dick and the fact he's a dick l...
